Terms: Full board Victoria Falls 1.7 kms wide and with drops of between 90 - 107 metres this is truly one of the great spectacles of the world. An average of 550,000 cubic metres of water plummet over the edge every minute, but during the flood stage from March to May, up to five million cubic metres per minute pass over the falls. The Zambian side of Victoria Falls is sometimes forgotten, but it provides an entirely separate experience to its Zimbabwean counterpart. First of all, the views are different, but you can sidle right up to the falling water, walk a steep track down to the base of the falls and follow spindly walkways perched over the abyss. |

A major feature of Chobe National Park is its elephant population, of which there are an estimated 35,000 animals. The Chobe has one of the largest elephant herds in Africa providing some unforgettable sights as they gather around the water holes or swim across the river using their trunks as snorkels. |
