Wild Africa Lodge is located on the northern shore of Lake Manyara, only few kilometres from the town of Mto wa Mbu.  The lodge consists of 9 tented thatched cottages and 1 tented-thatched luxury honeymoon suite. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and private verandas. Most cottages overlook the gardens and beyond with view to Lake Manyara and the land of the Maasai people.      The lodge has a good sized swimming pool, bar, spacious sitting area and dining room and Skip and Kelly, the managers, will welcome you with warm and friendly hospitality.      The extraordinary bird life at the lodge and in the surrounding National Parks is well known by ornithologists, who come to observe the stands of pink flamingos and great birds of prey present in Lake Manyara National Park and where a good variety of game reside (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo jackal, hyena, mongoose, giraffe & hippo).     This is a nicely presented, peaceful, small tented lodge in a good central location for Lake Manyara Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Parks.
