Recently, Vuyatela - meaning, "come and visit again" - was built.  This exclusive lodge has broken the mould of traditional game lodges and is the pride of the Djuma Game Reserve.   When building local Shangaan people were employed to hand-craft the camp, thus creating jobs as well as a unique and beautiful construction.  Before construction, the local Sangoma was invited to bless the site - the ancestors were to be informed of our intentions.  The Sangoma, who led the proceedings, "threw the bones" - their relative positions interpreted as omens, good or bad.  The lie of the "bones’ indicated that the ancestors were pleased! In addition to Vuyatella there are two other luxury safari lodges in the Djuma: the magnificent Bush Lodge and the private Galago Camp.  FACLITIES The main lodge includes a large double deck, outdoor dining, wine cellar, bar overlooking the watering hole, indigenous aquarium, suspended bird-watching tower.  There is an Internet library with detailed wildlife websites, a gym and relaxation room.
