Trogon House and Forest Spa is located to the east of Plettenberg Bay - halfway between Keurbooms river and Natures Valley, the most scenic and unspoiled stretch of the Garden Route. The lodge is suspended on massive timbers in the tree tops of an untouched indigenous forest reserve which stretches to the Tsitsikamma mountains and beyond.  The lodge embraces the landscape with glass walls and roofs, creating a true "in the forest" experience. The lodge is for exclusive use only, from 1 to a maximum of 8 guests per night.  Standard minimum stay of 3 nights (5 nights mid December - mid January). The main lodge has expansive reception areas and two bedroom suites, and is linked by elevated walkways to two hidden forest suites.  The walkways continue to a very private spa & treatment centre offering massages and a range of therapies and beauty treatments.  All four suites have under floor heating and private bathrooms and are equipped with all modern conveniences including satellite television and telephones.  A buffet breakfast is included in the tarrif.  At extra cost, for evening meals, a personal chef can be provided to  produce à la carte options and platters at a time and in a location of the guest's choice.  Picnic baskets can also be provided. As well as daily guided forest walks to the Buffels river below the lodge, there is a wide variety of land and water based activities within a short drive, as well as outdoor pursuits in the nearby Tsitsikamma National Park.  The fine beaches of Nature's Valley and Plettenberg Bay are 15 minutes drive away.
