India
Best time to visit: October to March inclusive

India has a three-season year - the hot, the wet and the cool. The heat starts to build up on the northern plains around February and by April it is very hot. The first signs of the monsoon appear in May with high humidity and tropical storms. The monsoon rains begin around June in the extreme south and sweep north to cover the whole country by early July. The main monsoon ends around October, and India's northern cities become crisp at night in December.

In the far south, where it never gets cool, the temperatures are comfortably warm rather than hot.

Australia
Best time to visit: North - April to November; Other Regions - November to March
Australia's climatic extremes are greater than most countries in the world. The seasons are in reverse to those of the UK and climate differs from region to region. The north is dominated by a wet monsoon in the Summer Months (November to March) so the best months to visit these areas are April to November.
The best months to visit most other regions of Australia are November to March

The southern and southwestern corners and Tasmania enjoy a Mediterranean climate, receiving their rainfall in the winter months of June to September. In Kimberley, the Top End and the Southern Outback summer temperatures often exceeded 100F/38C.

Maldives
Best time to visit:
November to March

Generally warm and humid with sunshine all year round. The best time to visit is between November and March during the north-east monsoon when it is dry with very little wind.

Maldives is located at the equator and experiences monsoonal climate. Maldives has two distinct seasons; dry season (northeast monsoon) and wet season (southwest monsoon). In these two seasons the temperature hardly varies. The Northeast monsoon extends from January to March. Throughout the year, temperature remains almost same in the Maldives.

The wet season- southwest monsoon runs from mid-May to November but the fact that the Maldives is located at the equator, means thatthe islands continue to receive plentiful of sunshine through out the year. On average Southern atolls (Gan) of the Maldives receives 2704.07 hours of sunshine each year. Furthermore, on average central (Hulhule) parts of the country receives 2784.51 hours of sunshine per year.
