It is owner-run, situated on a 600 acre estate and is surrounded by 25 acres of New Zealand’s most beautiful English style gardens with sweeping lawns and a five-acre man-made lake. The gardens adjoin the 350-acre Spy Valley vineyard and winery, whilst nearby are the famed Cloudy Bay, Montana and Hunters vineyards. Slightly further afield, sightseeing takes in the Marlborough Sounds and Kaikoura where, in season, whale watching is possible. Fly-fishing is available on many local rivers.
