The River Club, Victoria Falls, Zambia

The Best

The River Club is beautifully situated among lush riverine vegetation on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River, 18 kms upstream from Victoria Falls. It faces westward into the sunset and on to the Zambezi National Park on the opposite side of the river.

The River Club from the Zambezi River

The Club has a distinct Edwardian flavour, and guests here enjoy the sights and sounds of Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River in a peaceful and tranquil setting away from the crowds. Everything is set in immaculate gardens with light woodland, colourful flower beds and trimmed lawns. The River Club is not a game lodge but lion calls can often be heard at night and hippo are regularly sighted (and heard) along the river's edge.
