Tangala House is a large and unique family home located on the banks of the Zambezi River, 15kms upstream from the magnificent Victoria Falls, with incredible sunsets across the Zambezi and looking onto the Zambezi National Park.  This is an ideal home for a family or group of friends who wish for privacy and exclusivity and the comfort of their own home, and with staff on hand to provide you with what you want, when you want.  Stylishly built and furnished with a recent feature in the UK House and Garden magazine, this really is a superb place to stay. The house is ideal for families and is designed to keep insects out, with glass windows all round. Large herds of elephant often come down to drink on the opposite bank and hippopotamus are regularly seen and heard.  There is fantastic birdlife, with over 145 species to date spotted from the kitchen window.  There is a large swimming pool in the garden which runs down to the banks of the river.  Tangala can either fit in with a safari holiday as the Victoria Falls destination, or can easily be a one week holiday destination in its own right, with all the wildlife, water and adventure activities that the Falls have to offer.  With a minimum stay of three nights the house can be taken on a Full Board which means all food and drinks are included but activities are not.  These can be booked and arranged whilst there and it is ideal for families looking to spend more time relaxing at Tangala and is good value if travelling with children.  Alternatively Tangala can be booked on a fully inclusive basis, in which case guests will have their own private guide and host, chef, waiter, housekeeper, pool and ground attendant, as well as private use of vehicles and boats.  On this basis all meals and bar, as well as river activities from the house and trips to the Falls, shops, curio markets, museums and game parks are included in the rate.  This gives the guests total flexibility, enabling them to do what they want, when the want, all with their own host/guide, with complete privacy.
