Tamar wallabies, now almost extinct on the mainland, Grey kangaroos, koalas, echidnas, Fairy penguins, seals and sea lions plus a variety of bird life, live within the safety of the island’s ocean boundaries. Graham and Lyn Wheaton have lived on Kangaroo Island their whole lives. Graham is a third generation islander - his grandfather settled on the island and set up their farm. They continue to farm 3,000 acres around their beautiful homestead in addition to welcoming a small number of guests into their home. The property is also home to two lagoons with excellent bird and wildlife viewing around it and Graham’s knowledge as a wildlife guide is with you during your stay.
