Hotel This picturesque property, equidistant between and Jaipur and Udaipur, is an ideal stopover for 2 to 4 nights. The property is the former summer residence of the rulers of Shapura and consists of five suites and four beautifully appointed double rooms offering very comfortable facilities and excellent service. This is a tranquil and pleasant place to stay between the busy cultural centres of Rhajastan or combines well with a tiger safari in Ranthambore. The Shapura region has a rich varied landscape dotted with many man-made lakes, quaint villages and friendly innocent people un-spoilt by modernity. Long warm days in the sun are standard fare. The lakes hold abundant birdlife. There is a plethora of things to do and most leave wishing they had spent more time at this charming place.Rooms Accommodation comprises 10 rooms 6 suites Suites and 4 Deluxe rooms. 1 Suite and 1 Deluxe room are in the main house where the family stays. These rooms are situated on the top floor and have a huge terrace with good views over the estate.. The large rooms in the restored residence have huge windows and doors opening out onto the garden. High ceilings and uncluttered bedrooms add to the feeling of space, together with excellent bathrooms. The style and decor of Shapura Bagh is very much a mixture of Rajasthan meets colonial, with a quiet, understated yet elegant air. The emphasis here is on light and openness. Each room is unique but all all rooms are air-conditioned and have overhead fans.
