Samode Bagh, Jaipur

Lying in the Aravalli Hills, north of Jaipur, Samode Bagh is situated just down the road from its sister the Samode Palace, and has luxury Mughal tented pavilions for accommodation which is surrounded sublime terraced gardens. There is a good swimming pool, central pavilion and a grass tennis court. The large gardens are surrounded by walls and the nearby small, traditional village is lovely to stroll around in.

All the tents have fans and most have air-conditioning. They are spacious and prettily decorated and have comfortable, proper beds. They have electric light and excellent, modern, permanent, attached bathrooms (with showers). Each tent has its own, small verandah in front.

There is one restaurant which offers Continental, Oriental and Indian cuisine. It is also possible to order snacks by the pool and room service is readily available.
