Samburu Intrepids Camp, Samburu, Kenya

Recommended

Perched on stilts on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River in the heart of Samburu National reserve, Samburu Intrepids enjoys a unique perspective of one of Africa’s most celebrated wildernesses.  The game in this area is especially good along the river, with regular sightings of elephant, hippo, crocodile, lion, buffalo, gerenuk, leopard and plains game.  The camp, which is run on strict eco-principles, enjoys close relations with the local Samburu community.
