Reilly's Rock Hilltop Lodge, Mlilwane, Swaziland

Recommended

Reilly’s Rock Hilltop Lodge is an exclusive retreat situated in the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary, against the backdrop of Nyonyane Mountain.  Built shortly after the turn of the century and furnished with many antiques, it occupies a commanding position high above the Ezulwini Valley.  Here guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the valley and the herds of wildlife on the plains below.

WILDLIFE
The Botanical Gardens that surround the lodge are home to prolific bird life.  A variety of mammals roam the plains, and hippo and crocodile are found in the nearby dam.  Big game, including black and white rhino, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, lion and occasionally leopard, are found in the nearby Mkhaya Game Reserve and Hlane Royal National Park.

FACILITIES
Reilly’s Rock offers superb meals.  The central lounge (with a TV) and communal dining areas look out onto the wide verandah - ideal for breakfast or sundowners - and mountains beyond.  A small shop and other facilities are available nearby.
