Pension Kleines Heim is located in a beautiful setting about five minutes’ drive from the centre of town. You will be enchanted by its old world charm and peaceful atmosphere. Its name originated during the time of the so called "old location" which was situated very close to the pension. The inhabitants of the "location" first used the name "Kleines Heim", referring to its function as a "small" maternity home. The colourful history of Pension Kleines Heim also includes a period when it served as a guest house for important visitors to the colonial governors of the colony. Probably the most illustrious guest ever to have set foot here, was "Kgama, The Good One", the father of Sir Seretse Kgama former president of Botswana. FACILITIES The Pension's rooms lead on to lawns which surround a swimming pool under impressive palm trees. Dinner can be provided on request, though most visitors eat out. In the Cellar Bar the mood is always cozy, just the place to enjoy a supper or a Namibian brew.
