This beautifully restored 250-year-old bungalow, located on one of Colombo's quiet, leafy side streets, has carefully retained the elegant colonial ambience of an ancestral home whilst providing every 21st century amenity. The cuisine is beautifully presented and although Mediterranean and Oriental dishes are much in evidence, the menus are often a flavourful fusion of western and eastern cooking. In addition, special requests can always be accommodated by the friendly staff.  There are no set times for meals and guests can dine wherever they please – in the main restaurant, beside the pool, in their room or on the ample front lawn. As well as swimming and relaxing by the pool, the hotel offers in-room massage treatments and has a gym.
