Situated on the eastern side of Etosha, bordering Fisher's Pan, Onguma Private Nature Reserve contains more than 20,000 hectares of protected land and has four very different camps. The wildlife includes over thirty different animal species consisting of plains game, predators such as lion, cheetah and leopard and also black rhino, in addition to more than 300 bird species.
Onguma Tented Camp - an exclusively luxurious destination, offering the ultimate in safari chic. The stunning main building and the seven exquisitely styled tents create a sleek and modern setting in texures of stone, suede, linen and steel, with colours echoing the natural surroundings. The camp overlooks a waterhole providing daily wildlife activity, and there is also a pool for a relaxing dip. Private patios offer ample space for reading/relaxing between game drives and dining.

The Fort - This unique lodge built with elaborate African doors, raw plastered walls and elegant furnishings fuse classic African style with a touch of Moraccan and Indian themes. The lodge comprises eleven, completely private mini-suites, one maxi-suite and a fort suite - the latter situated within the spectacular 12m high main tower. Each suite offers sprawling views of Etosha and Fisher's Pan, as well as a spacious bathroom with both an indoor and a private outdoor shower. Tree Top Camp - Onguma Tree Top Camp is a unique, intimate camp especially designed for discerning travellers, who seek to experience the bush in all its raw splendour. Ideal fo groups of six to eight guests, the entire camp is built on wooden stilts amongst the tree tops and positioned to face one of the most beautiful watering holes on Onguma Reserve. Weather permitting, all canvas walls are opened to offer unhindered views. Breathe in the aromas of the bush, as our chef prepares culinary delights, cooked on an open fire or prepared in the open plan kitchen. Tree Top Camp consists of four, thatched, canvas walled rooms, as well as a main complex. Each room features an en-suite bathroom, private outdoor shower and sprawling views of the watering hole. Evenings are enjoyed around the fire. Bush Camp - Onguma Bush Camp offers guests comfortable and relaxing surroundings and accommodation in traditional stone and thatched cottages. Sit back and enjoy a refreshing drink while capturing the Namibian sunset, or gather lazily around a fire after a hearty meal and listen to the night calls of the wild. There is a flood lit waterhole where black rhino, wildebeest and lion are frequently seen. Game drives are conducted on the reserve itself and also in the Etosha National Park, where the various waterholes attract large amounts of game and ensure excellent photographic opportunities.
