The luxurious Bush Camp is a new addition to Okonjima and offers an alternative to the ever popular Okonjima Lodge.  The Okonjima Bush Camp is situated in a wilderness area approximately 3km from the main camp.  Guests at both the main lodge and bush camp can experience the work done by the AfriCat Foundation. Apart from the bush camp, there is also an education and research centre on the property, as well as rehabilitation camps for the various animals.  Guests at Okonjima have the opportunity to experience these cats firsthand, and will also learn about what is being done by the AfriCat foundation to ensure the survival of these animals in Namibia. Activities A unique wildlife experience.  Highlights at Okonjima include radio-tracking rescued cheetah and leopard with excellent photographic opportunities, visiting the AfriCat centre, joining a guide on the informative and interactive Bushman trail, self-guided walking trails and birding.  There is a night hide for viewing some of the area's smaller residents including honey badgers, porcupine and caracal.
