This safari includes time in the Kalahari Desert, Sossusvlie Dunes, the Skeleton Coast and the Spitzkoppe Mountain Reserves. An eclectic mix of good standard accommodation in beautiful and remote areas. This itinerary is available on a self drive 4x4 basis or with a private guide. Ideal for independent self-drive trips or for a family who would like the added comfort a professional guide.

| 2 | Met on arrival, collect hire car/meet guide and drive (about 3 hours) south to the Kalahari. | 1 nt Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch in comfortable wooden chalets on stilts set amongst the red sanddunes. Half board. Game drives and nature trails. |
| 3 | Travel west to the Namib Desert, about a 4 hour drive through a beautiful desert area. | 2 nts Sossusvlie Lodge on a half board basis. Luxury tented accommodation sunset walks, ballooning, quad biking, scenic flights and desert tours. |
| 4 | A whole day is set aside to see the Sossusvlie Dunes and Dead Pan | Hiking, dune climbing and exploring area. |
| 5 & 6 | Drive west to the Gravel Plains and Swakopmund on the Atlantic coast. | 2 nts Swakopmund Guest House. Morning excursion to Walvis Bay lagoon, excellent birding, seals, flamingos, dolphins or try quad biking or dune skiing. |
| 7 | Drive northwards along the Skeleton Coast to Cape Cross | 1 night Cape Cross Lodge, half board basis. Huge seal colonies, salt pans, lichen fields and bushveld game or or Erongo Lodge rock art, game drives, bush walks and rock pool. |
| 8 | Travel east to the semi-arid Spitzkoppe Outcrops near Usakos, about 4 hours drive. | 1 nt at Okapu Ranch on a half board basis. Bushmans paintings, game viewing, hiking trails, horse riding, tennis and helicopter flips. |
