Situated on Lake Kariba overlooking the Ume River and the Matusadona National Park, Musango Safari Camp offers you a wide range of activities from which to explore the plethora of wildlife that this area supports. Your host, Steve Edwards, a professional guide, and his team are on hand to take you walking, driving, game viewing from a boat, canoeing and fishing. The camp is tented, with each chalet covered by an A-framed thatched roof to keep you cool. A typical day at Musango will involve the pleasure of the dawn breaking, exciting activities, nourishing meals and Kariba's famous sunsets, before the campfire stories begin.

Steve is an accomplished photographer and keen ornithologist who will enjoy looking after your special requirements. Musango is a campfire project and as such is in partnership with the local Omay community. This provides the assistance that is needed in social and economic development by demonstrating the value of tourism. FACILITIES The central building, a double storey traditional thatched structure, provides a home for the dining room, lounge, bar, viewing platform and a shaded swimming pool with a commanding view of the lake.
