Situated between the Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru, Mt Meru Game Lodge is also midway between Kilimanjaro Airport and Arusha Town. Located within 33 acres of mature, well manicured gardens bounded on one side by the Usa River and the other by the Animal Sanctuary. The Lodge and Sanctuary was established in 1959 and created to provide comfortable accommodation for discerning visitors, and to offer refuge to orphaned and injured animals. This is a nice lodge with good food and light, nicely  decorated rooms in a peaceful semi rural location. Recently refurbished and upgraded. The lodge consists of 15 double or twin en suite bedrooms and 2 suites, all having their own private verandah, an ideal spot for sun downers or just relaxing and enjoying the unique  atmosphere.
