Montusi Mountain Lodge, located near Mont-aux-Sources and Royal Natal Drakensberg Park, offers genuine hospitality in the tranquillity of one of the most beautiful settings in South Africa.    FACILITIES  Montusi consists of a large and beautifully thatched main building (with reception, restaurant, terrace, bar, lounge and meeting room).  The intimate restaurant is renowned for sumptuous local cuisine.  The Lodge has a swimming pool overlooking the escarpment and a thatched pavilion - great for braais or functions.     CHILDREN   The Berg is a fantastic place for children and Montusi has many activities that will appeal to them.  However, tranquillity is one of the main attractions of the Lodge and wilderness areas are not without risk.  Children should, therefore, be supervised closely by parents.  There are dedicated mealtimes for children up to the age of 12.  SELF-CATERING  There are a number of self-catering chalets on the estate, providing space for between 4 to 8 visitors per chalet. The chalets are generously furnished and equipped including heating, stove, fridge, freezer, microwave and TV.  Bedding and towels are provided.
