Leopard Hills spreads over 10,000 hectares of the world-renowned Sabi Sands Game Reserve - part of the greater Kruger National Park eco-system. The lodge overlooks a natural waterhole and, situated close to the perennial Sand River, lives right up to its name. From your hilltop sanctuary, you may be lucky enough to catch sight of a leopard on the hunt, a breeding herd of elephant or some gracious kudu. Many species of antelope pass within view of the lodge, while in the reserve, Africa's big game abounds. On safari you may see prides of lion, herds of elephant, white rhino, buffalo, cheetah, wild dog, hyena and many more.
Go in search of Africa's big game on early morning and late afternoon/evening game drives in specially designed Land Rovers. Back in camp, you will be spoilt by the highest standards of service and fine cuisine complemented by celebrated local and international wines, and a welcoming, warm and fun-filled atmosphere. When the heat is on, cool down on the open air verandah, relax in the lounge with a drink or sink below the refreshing surface of the swimming pool. Each day will be different as you explore the endless fascination of Africa's wildlife. Hippos wallow in the river, crocodiles bask on a sand bank and majestic eagles - just one of 100s of species of birds - keep watch overhead. Out walking you will discover many of the fascinating small creatures of Africa. Leopard Hills is approximately 6 hours drive (500 kms) from Johannesburg and 90 minutes drive (150 kms) from Nelspruit.
