The newly opened Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is set in the heart of a mahogany forest in Tanzania's unique Lake Manyara National Park. The Park nestles at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, and is noted for its incredible beauty. Surprisingly varied vegetation sustains a wealth of wildlife. FACILITIES Guest areas are intimate and cosy, and overlook a forest boma (reeded enclosure) and interactive kitchen. The lodge has a pool and a craft shop. The lakeshore Sala is a unique setting for dinners, picnics, and sundowners. Food is simple, delicious and wholesome – unpretentious and prepared in tin trunks and in the pizza oven.
