Situated on over 21,000 hectares of private property and bordering the Namib Naukluft Park, Kulala Desert Lodge lies in the heart of the Namib. It offers magnificent views of the famous red dunes of Sossusvlei as well as spectacular mountain scenery and vast open plains.
WILDLIFE A water hole in front of the main building give the opportunity to see Oryx, Springbok, Bat Eared Fox and Jackals. Some Brown Hyenas can be heard at night. FACILITIES The main lodge has a lounge, pub, dining area and plunge pool. The verandah overlooks a waterhole and provides the perfect location to view and photograph the desert sunset. Note that there are no laundry facilities as there is not enough surplus water for washing clothes.
TRANSFER By air: Geluk Airstrip is 15 minutes from camp. Flight times: from Windhoek - 75 minutes; from Swakopmund - 60 minutes. Self drive: approximately 5 hours from Windhoek (350 Km); 6 hours from Swakopmund (380 Km).

Chalets, which are set on wooden platforms to provide maximum airflow, have ceiling fans, and en suite bathrooms and showers.
