Klein's Camp is located in one of the most strategically positioned wildlife sanctuaries in the world - bordered to the north by Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve and to the west by the Serengeti National Park. The camp, built on the craggy quartzite and sandstone Kuka Hills, commands breathtaking views of the valley through which pass migratory herds of wildebeest and zebra. The elephant rules this landscape, moving in numbers unequalled anywhere else in the Serengeti.

WILDLIFE Most large mammals, including elephant and lion, move up and down the hillsides from time to time, but the mountain reedbuck, klipspringer and rock hyrax are truly at home here. A guided walk up the hillside often leads to an encounter with these rock-loving mammals as well as numerous interesting birds. Klein's Camp lies in the path of the annual great migration (May to July) of zebra and wildebeest en route to Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve. The camp has a library of wildlife books, videos and field guides for guests' use.
FACILITIES Klein's has a large, beautifully furnished bar/living area, plunge pool, curio shop and leisure deck. Wholesome Pan-African meals are prepared using vegetables and herbs from the camp's own organic garden. Dinners are served in the main dining area with its large open fireplace, or in an enchanting bush clearing.
