The Khoka Moya safari Camp lies in unspoilt bush in the Manyeleti Game Reserve, near Hoedspruit in the Northern Province, close to the Kruger National Park.  The camp is unfenced and many species of game regularly wander through the camp on their way to the waterhole for a drink or a wallow in the mud.  Whether on foot or in customised viewing vehicles, the thrill of sighting game at close quarters is a highlight not easily forgotten.  In addition to the "Big Five", the veld is alive with giraffe, zebra, antelope and hippo, as well as smaller game including warthog, caracal, serval, pangolin and honey badgers.  Birdlife is also prolific - it's not uncommon to spot well over 100 species over a weekend.    Honeyguide Khoka Moya comprises 12 large tents furnished in a contemporary yet comfortable style. Each tent is en-suite with double shower and separate loot. A private outdoor seating area in front of each tent allows guests to relax and take in sights and sounds of the bush. The large tents at Khoka Moya measure some 60 square meters and can comfortable house a family of four all under the protection of mosquito nets. The reception areas reflect the contemporary design of architect Enrico Daffonchio and are built of steel, corrugated iron and recycled timber. The large lounge and dining areas of the camp overlook manicured green lawns leading to the swimming pool. The rates at Honeyguide include accommodation, all meals and beverages, including wine, as well as activities.  Honey guide is very child friendly. The children's program is mainly safari-orientated, sharing the knowledge and wonders of Africa, and also includes an activity centre, supervised by the camp staff, offering a variety of activities such as beadwork, cookie making, drawing and reading. The centre is stocked with a DVD player and a variety of animal and nature related movies, toys as well as a small library aimed at a younger readership. Children are welcome to go on walks with their parents. We have also added a short (1 hour) drive for the children after breakfast where time will be spent looking at some of the small wonders of the bushveld. The Khoka Moya swimming pool has a children's area and we can supply inflatable arm bands if required. We appreciate that children often have different dietary requirements so we have introduced an optional menu as an alternative for children, with food such as pasta, fish fingers, hamburgers, hotdogs and ice-cream. Our rate for children under the age of 12 years is 50% of the adult rate and is based on the child sharing a tent with the adult.
