It is set within its own private game reserve that contains a good diversity of game including rhino, leopard, giraffe, hippo and the rare brown hyena. Nearby places of interest include: a rhino sanctuary, the Waterberg cultural and Rhino museum, art and craft shops, crocodile farm, scenic helicopter flights, fishing and boating. There is also an excellent choice of day trips to see the big five (elephant, rhino, leopard, lion and buffalo) in nearby game reserves.
