Situated overlooking an established and well used water hole in the malaria free Madikwe Game Reserve, Jaci's Safari Lodge boasts 75,000 hectares of 'Big-5' territory.  Here you can also see wild dog, both black and white rhino, extensive plains game, including sable, gemsbok, springbok and giraffe, and 340 species of birds.  Jaci's offers exclusive luxury and a superb bush experience.  FACILITIES The main complex is open plan, curved around a huge anthill, under shady trees overlooking the water hole and on the banks of the Marico River.  Dinners are eaten outside in the boma or out in the bush on a "braai".  Swimming pool overlooking the river. Well-stocked ethnic craft shop.    CHILDREN Children of all ages are welcome at Jaci's.   Children aged 12 and under are accommodated in their parents' room (maximum 3 children per room).   Children aged 7 and under are taken on their own daytime game drives.   Special evening meal arrangements for children. Children under 12 cannot do walks inside the Reserve.     TRANSFER 45 minute flight from Gauteng or a scenic 3½ hour drive on tarred roads to the Reserve, and another hour inside the Reserve to Jaci's.     No. of Bedrooms Eight thatched rooms with canvas sides, each with a charming built in, en-suite hand-made rock bath with an outdoor "safari" shower,  a fireplace and fan.  Six of the rooms have twin beds; the other two rooms have king-size four-poster beds.  All rooms have a viewing deck overlooking a dry river bed.
