Best Time to Visit
Indo China is a year-round destination, with Nov-Apr being the preferable time to travel
in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.

Climate
Vietnam
is a year-round destination with a multitude of altitudes and latitudes,
visitors are likely to encounter both sunshine and rain. Temperatures are usually
hot and humid, in the low 30°Cs (high 80°Fs), but if you head north and along the
coast they cool down to comfortable temperatures towards January. The weather
is determined by two monsoons; the winter monsoon comes from the northeast
between Oct & Mar bringing wet chilly winters to all areas north of Nha Trang,
but dry and warm temperatures to the south. From May-Oct, the southwestern
monsoon brings warm, humid weather and rain to the entire country except for
those areas sheltered by mountains.

Cambodia is hot all year round, with minimal rainfalls between Nov & Apr. The
monsoon season is similar to Vietnam, from May-Oct. Travel is still possible
during this period, and you will experience only short, but heavy, downpours.
November is the optimum time to visit, with the rivers being full and the countryside
lush and green.

Laos is best visited between Nov & Apr with warm and dry conditions and cool
evenings. Temperatures and humidity begin to rise in Mar, with the rains usually
commencing around Jun. Oct & early Nov can see short tropical rainfalls and
Sep is often very rainy.
