Day 1 Fly in economy class from London Heathrow, overnight to Delhi.
Day 2 On arrival in Delhi you will be met and transferred to the Imperial Hotel to stay for 2 nights in a Heritage Room. Rest of the day at leisure. Terms: Bed & breakfast. Day 3 Full day guided tour of Delhi. Morning Old Delhi: Jama Mosque, Red Fort and rickshaw ride in the old city. Afternoon New Delhi short tour: Qutab Minar, Humayun's Tomb drive past Government Buildings. Overnight at the Imperial. Day 4 Drive to Agra (210kms), arriving around noon. Afternoon tour of Agra city, including Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal (Taj Mahal closed on Fridays). Overnight at the Taj View Hotel in a Taj Facing room. Terms: Bed & breakfast. Day 5 Drive to Jaipur (260kms) with a visit en route to the deserted Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri. Afternoon arrival in Jaipur to the Jai Mahal Hotel to stay for 2 nights in a deluxe room. Rest of the day at leisure. Terms: Bed & breakfast.
Day 6 Morning visit to the Amber Fort, arriving on an elephant. In the afternoon, city tour visiting City Palace and Jantar Mantar or the Astronomical Observatory. Overnight at the Jai Mahal Hotel.
Day 7 Drive to Jodhpur (340kms), arriving in the afternoon to the Taj Hari Mahal Hotelto stay for 2 nights in a Superior Room. Rest of the day at leisure. Terms: Bed & breakfast.
Day 8 Morning tour of Jodhpur City including visits to Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada. Afternoon visit to a Bishnoi Village. (The Bishnoi people are famed for their love of animal and plant life,and protect all life forms as part of their religion). Overnight at Taj Hari Mahal Hotel.
Day 9 A day's drive to Udaipur. En route, visits to two of the most stunning sights of all Rajasthan: Ranakpur (the largest Jain Temple complex) and Kumbhalgarh Fort (the largest fort complex in India). Early evening arrival at the Lake Palace Hotel to stay for 2 nights in a Lake View Room. Rest of the day at leisure. Terms: Bed and breakfast. Day 10 Morning tour of Udaipur City, visiting the City Palace and the Jagdish Temple. An afternoon at leisure with, in the evening, a relaxing boat ride on Lake Pichola. Overnight at the Lake Palace Hotel.
Day 11 Transfer to Udaipur Airport to connect at 0810 with a flight to Delhi. On arrival at 1045, you will be transferred to an airport hotel where a day room will be available. In the evening you will be collected and transferred back to the airport to connect with an overnight flight in economy class to London.
Day 12 Early morning arrival London Heathrow.
