Impalila Island Lodge is situated at the confluence of two mighty African rivers, the Chobe and Zambezi and at the meeting place of four countries - Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana. FACILITIES The main complex, built to incorporate two massive baobab trees, includes a swimming pool, lounge, dining and bar area, curio shop, small reference library and very spacious deck areas. The Lodge offers excellent cuisine - al-fresco style in a variety of romantic settings under the baobab canopy or perhaps a picnic on a wild island - and a fully stocked bar wine cellar. For special occasions such as honeymoons, anniversaries and birthdays consider a moonlight dinner on a river sandbank, a private candlelit dinner for 2 on your own deck or a champagne brunch at the historical baobab.
