Charlie is a fixed departure wilderness mobile camp run by Nomad Tanzania, and offers clients a rare chance to enjoy roving adventure and true mobility in the Serengeti & adjoining National Parks; something that is found less and less these days.  The camp consists of 4 well-equipped walk-in tents, with comfortable safari beds, duvets and sheets and an en-suite bathroom tent at the rear with a short-drop loo and safari style bucket shower with hot/cold water on demand.  There is a separate dining tent for meals and a bar stocking soft drinks, wine and beer.  It’s the base from which you can head out on walking safaris or explore these remote areas by 4 x 4, staying as far away from the crowds as possible. Charlie offers all the best of a classic safari: great locations, first class guides and mobility, it’s a genuine safari experience, and at an affordable cost with the set departures.  Charlie is easy to pack up and move and the dedicated crew of safari professionals who are looking after you in camp will pack it up, and whisk it off to a new location and set it up ready for your arrival, just in time for a cold sun downer before dinner.  Charlie is available on set departure dates only, during which you will cover two great spots in both the Serengeti and the adjoining Loliondo Concession area with three nights at one camp and two nights at the other, with the camp moving locations in the middle of the safari.  The Serengeti stay offers game drives out into the midst of the migration, big game, big landscapes etc, whilst in the Loliondo you can get out of the car and walk tin the concession area, enjoy night drives, off-road driving etc. everything that you can’t do in much of the Serengeti.  The combination of these two areas wraps up the Serengeti eco-system into one sensational safari experience.
