Camps Bay Retreat is centred on a beautiful house, built in 1929 just behind Camps Bay on a low mountain spur. There are extensive grounds, bounded on both sides by mountain streams and waterfalls, and excellent views both out to sea and to the Twelve Apostles mountains. The whole property and gardens have recently been refurbished and a later house, to the side of the site, linked by a cable bridge and opened up to provide additional accommodation. The original house, Earl's Dyke Manor, has retained its opulence and traditional decoration and style, while the newer house, The Deck House, has been refurbished to a modern design, with clean lines and large wooden deck spaces.
There are 15 rooms and suites, all individually decorated and furnished, and all having extensive views over the garden, sea or mountains. Decor and furnishings are of the highest standard throughout and all rooms have full ensuite facilities and every modern amenity. All the rooms in the Deck House have private decks and deck chairs to make the best of the light and views. All rooms have access to the wide, leafy gardens and shady walks. In the gardens are swimming pools, a tennis court, a meditation pool and a wellness centre with spa treatments and a fully equipped gym. The property is but a short walking distance to Glen beach, Camps Bay beach and Clifton.| Style | Tranquil and relaxed guesthouse | | Air/Con | Yes | | Dining | Bed & breakfast only.
