Bush Lodge is a rather special safari place, with many guests returning time and again over the past eight years. The Lodge building, of wood and thatch is unique in its construction and offers magnificent views of the surrounding African veld from the upper deck. Children are always welcome. In addition to Bush Lodge there are two other luxury safari lodges in the Djuma: the recently added Vuyatella and the private Galago Camp. FACILITIES The pool is in a small grove of Tamboti trees and is always delightfully cool. There are 2 viewing decks over the water-hole. Breakfast at Bush Lodge is a full English buffet. Lunch is a simple affair: with hot and cold dishes, and afternoon tea includes freshly baked cakes. Sumptuous dinners are either served in the dining room or under under the African sky, around a roaring fire in the boma. The Lodge has full bar facilities and a library. | | |
