Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands are ideal for a wedding and honeymoon.  Let Time For Africa  arrange a ceremony with a difference, on a hill in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro surrounded by game, at the lip of Victoria Falls or on a lush tropical island, the choice is endless. The following are just a few of the destinations we recommend to make that special day truly unforgettable:

TONGABEZI, ZAMBIA
Your wedding will be blessed right on the very edge of Victoria Falls at Livingstone Island - one of the most dramatic settings you could imagine. Tongabezi's excellent 4-night wedding package includes accommodation, wedding arrangements (a registry in Livingstone Town), a blessing on Livingstone Island or Sindabezi Island, an African choir, dinner, a cake, flowers, four bottles of champagne and other surprises. Enjoy a romantic sunset dinner on the Sanpan. Each course is paddled out by canoe!

 
THE PALACE OF THE LOST CITY, SUN CITY
Few places in the world match The Palace for glamour. It is one of the world's most exciting destinations and you can go with the flow and create all the razzmatazz you want, or simply exchange your vows in a quiet corner of the rainforest. Although the civil ceremony must take place 'under a roof' (usually in a private house on the complex), the religious ceremony may take place outdoors and can be followed by tribal dancing and an orchestra, if you wish!

HUNTER'S COUNTRY HOUSE, PLETTENBERG BAY, SOUTH AFRICA
The intimate 'Chapel in the Forest' at Hunter's Country House is the ideal venue for a romantic wedding. Set in the heart of the Garden Route with a magnificent indigenous forest backdrop, the Chapel can seat up to 50 people. (See picture above far right.) Thereafter, intimate receptions for two in the private dining room or if you have guests, the dining conservatory is the ideal venue. All arrangements, from marriage certificate to medieval banquets, are taken care of - all they need is the bride and groom!

GRANDE ROCHE, PAARL, CAPE WINELANDS, SOUTH AFRICA
A 300-year-old slave chapel secreted away amidst the gardens of the hotel is where your blessing will take place. The civil ceremony must take place in a registry office. After the ceremony you can enjoy a picnic on Table Mountain or maybe even a helicopter flight around the Cape Peninsula. The Honeymoon Suite features a double shower, jacuzzi bath and private roof sun terrace.
