True to its reputation as the home of jewellery design in Sri Lanka the Fort and the surrounding town is full of jewellery shops. Galle is also well known, and to some more famous, for its international cricket pitch. Watch a game from the top of the 300 year old Fort ramparts and imagine what life might have been like.
